My Son Is Innocent: Accused Chetan Chaudhary’s Father Breaks Silence in Lohagad Fort Murder Case

Pune, June 25: As the shocking Lohagad Fort murder case continues to grab headlines across Maharashtra, the family of accused Chetan Chaudhary has come forward to defend him. In his first public statement since the arrest, Chetan’s father strongly denied the allegations against his son and insisted that he is innocent.

The case revolves around the death of 26-year-old businessman Ketan Agarwal, who fell from a cliff at Lohagad Fort near Lonavala on June 18. What was initially believed to be a tragic accident later turned into a murder investigation after Pune Rural Police alleged that Ketan was deliberately pushed from the cliff as part of a planned conspiracy.

According to investigators, Ketan’s fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, conspired to eliminate him because they considered him an obstacle to their relationship. Police claim the duo planned multiple attempts before the fatal incident occurred at Lohagad Fort.

However, Chetan’s father has rejected the police version of events. Speaking to the media, he said his son had no role in Ketan’s death and was not even near the victim at the time of the incident. He also claimed that when police took Chetan into custody, officers told the family that it was a minor matter and that everything would be resolved quickly.

“My son is innocent. He has been wrongly implicated in this case,” the father reportedly said while expressing confidence that the truth would eventually emerge. The family has maintained that Chetan is being unfairly blamed and that the investigation should consider all facts before drawing conclusions.

Meanwhile, Pune Rural Police remain firm on their findings. Investigators claim that evidence gathered from mobile phone location data, witness statements, and other technical inputs points towards a premeditated conspiracy. Authorities have alleged that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary carefully planned the crime and executed it during a visit to Lohagad Fort.

The case has sparked widespread public debate due to the alleged involvement of a fiancée and her alleged lover in a murder plot. The victim’s family had reportedly refused to believe that Ketan’s death was accidental, prompting a deeper investigation that eventually led to the murder charges.

As the investigation progresses and legal proceedings continue, the court will ultimately determine the guilt or innocence of the accused. For now, the case remains one of the most talked-about criminal investigations in Maharashtra, with both the victim’s family and the accused’s relatives standing firmly by their respective versions of events.
