ICC recommends one neutral umpire for Tests
Neutral umpires will be back in international cricket since the Covid-19 pandemic started in March 2020. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to work on a hybrid model to encourage more local umpires. This could mean that the bilateral Tests may have one neutral umpire and one local umpire.
