India let themselves down bowling too short: Ricky Ponting

As Australia piled on an imposing 469 all out in the first innings against India in the ongoing World Test Championship final, legendary Ricky Ponting on Thursday said that the bowlers let the team down bowling too short on the opening day at the Oval. In a surprise move, India opted to bowl in the WTC Final but then could not utilize the conditions as Travis Head and Steve Smith tons took Australia to a formidable first innings score.
