Edulji slams India’s poor fielding in Women’s T20 World Cup exit

Sloppy fielding was one of the reasons for Team India’s semi-final loss to Australia in Women’s T20 World Cup on Thursday. Along with three dropped catches, there were at least 6 fumbles while fielding — which cost 10-12 extra runs — as Harmnpreet Kaur and co. had a poor day out on the field. Former captain Diana Edulji slammed the poor fielding from the women’s team, pointing out that the triumphant U-19 team looked fitter and fielded way better in their victorious T20 World Cup campaign.
