Dravid: Result-oriented wickets prepared keeping WTC points in mind

All the 3 Tests of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy so far have finished inside three days courtesy the rank turners on offer but India coach Rahul Dravid on Tuesday defended the wickets saying that the World Test Championship points do push countries to prepare result-oriented pitches. While the Nagpur and Delhi pitches escaped with an ‘average’ rating by the ICC, the Nagpur pitch, where the match finished inside 7 session was rated ‘poor’ by the match referee.
