Cyclone Phailin: Here’s how you can help
Cyclonic storm Phailin, the strongest to hit India in more than a decade and classified as ‘very severe’, made landfall at Gopalpur in Odisha at wind speeds of 200 km per hour.
The storm, likely to affect around 1.2 crore people, triggered mass exodus in at least seven districts of the two states with more than seven lakh people evacuated in Odisha.
