Ashwin hails Jadeja: ‘Thankful that I got a bowling partner like him’
India spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja pulled off spectacular bowling performances as India hammered Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the lop-sided first Test in Nagpur. Jadeja, who was returning to international cricket after a five-month injury lay-off, starred in the first innings picking up 5 wickets while Ashwin spun his web around the Aussie batters in the second innings, claiming his 31st Test five-wicket haul which forced the visitors to fold for 91 — their lowest score on Indian soil.
