| Following the BJP’s historic win in the Delhi Assembly elections, the party has initiated its promise to clean the Yamuna River. As vowed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, works on cleaning the river have commenced with trash skimmers, weed harvesters and a dredge utility craft. Delhi LG VK Saxena has rolled out a four-pronged strategy to tackle the issue comprehensively. The plan includes removing trash and silt, cleaning major drains, monitoring existing STPs and constructing new ones.
