Tamil superstar Ajith replaces Big B in Tamil, Telugu versions of English Vinglish

Tamil superstar Ajith replaces Big B in Tamil, Telugu versions of English Vinglish Sridevi may have had Big B to practice English Vinglish on a plane, in the Hindi version of her comeback film. But not so in the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film in which she’ll have to do make do with Tamil star Ajith. Even though the rest of the cast remains the same.

The change has been made with the consent of Big B who has never shot for a Tamil film before.

Big B’s good friend R Balki, whose wife Gauri Shinde is directing English Vinglish, thought that it would be inappropriate for the National Award winning actor to make his Tamil debut in a cameo appearance.

R Balki has directed the megastar in films like Cheeni Kum and Paa.

Ajith will shoot with Sridevi next week.
