'Russia Not Defeated' Putin Says Achieved Goals in Syria, Israel 'Main beneficiary' Of Assad Ouster

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the fall of ex-Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was not a “defeat” for Russia. Assad fled to Moscow earlier this month after a shock rebel advance ended half a century of rule by the Assad family. The Kremlin leader said he had yet to meet with Assad in Moscow, but planned to do so soon. The Russian president said he will ask Assad about the US journalist Austin Tice, who went missing in the country 12 years ago. Putin said that Russia had suggested “humanitarian use” of its bases in Syria to the country’s new administration. 00:00 – INTRODUCTION 03:14 – ‘ISRAEL MAIN BENEFICIARY OFTHE EVENTS TAKING PLACE IN SYRIA’05:05 – TURKEY WON’T HALT SYRIA MILITARYACTIVITY UNTIL KURD FIGHTERS ‘DISARM’n18oc_world n18oc_crux
