Pune Excise Department Cracks Down On Pubs And Bars Following Tragic Accident | Pune Car Crash
The Pune Excise Department has sealed and suspended the licenses of over 100 pubs and bars across the city, including nearly all rooftop bars. This decisive action also saw the permanent cancellation of licenses for six rooftop bars in Viman Nagar. These measures follow a directive from District Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase.Among the affected establishments are prominent names such as The Tipsy Horse, The Mafia Sky Lounge, Rude Lounge, and Escada All Day Kitchen & Bar. The decision to revoke the licenses of these six bars came after two hearings conducted by the Pune District Collector.
