NCRB Data: Suicide Rate Up in 2020; Maharashtra Top State, Delhi at Number One Among UTs

The report stated that ‘family problems’ (33.6%), ‘marriage-related problems’ (5%) and ‘illness’ (18%) accounted for 56.7% of total suicides in the country.
