Narendra Modi to lead BJP’s 2014 poll campaign: Rajnath Singh addresses media

Goa: On day three of the BJP conlave in Goa, BJP President Rajnath Singh is addressing the 300 BJP leaders at the national conclave in Goa. The biggest announcement made was the formal declaration of the name of Narendra Modi as the chairman of the BJP poll campaign for 2014 elections.

Following are the highlights of his address:

We consider 2014 Lok Sabha election to be a major challenge; determined to win.
Keeping the campaign in mind, I have appointed Gujarat CM Narendra Modi as the campaign committee chairman.
His selection was unanimous.
The entire country is looking towards the BJP with expectations.
If we need victory then we have to take this road.
