Lavrov Slams ‘NATO Fantasies’ Of Sending Troops To Ukraine Amid OSCE Faceoff With US, Kyiv Diplomats
Russia and Ukraine traded barbs at a meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation (OSCE) in Europe on Dec.5. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga called his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov a “war criminal.” Sybiha and other Ukrainian officials got up and left the room when Lavrov’s speech began. Lavrov arrived in Malta on his first visit to a EU nation since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nearly three years ago.
