FBI Director Kash Patel has proposed enhancing the US investigating agency’s ranks with help from the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Patel discussed the idea during his first video conference call with the bureau’s 55 field office supervisors on Feb. 26, Reuters reports. The virtual meeting with each field office’s special-agent-in-charge was the first led by Patel, who was sworn in as director on Feb. 21.UFC trainers will beef up agents’ martial arts and self-defense skills, four people familiar with the plan told Reuters. The current FBI agents described the idea as “surreal” and “wacky”, as per Reuters citing the sources who attended the meeting.
