Israel To Rejig Iran Nuke Attack Plan Post-Trump Takeover, Vows To Attack Hezbollah Despite Truce
The Israeli PM said that Tel Aviv’s ability to act against Iran’s nuclear programme “will be reevaluated” once US President-elect Donald Trump takes office in Jan. Benjamin Netanyahu made the remarks during a hearing of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Nov. 18.He also said that Israel’s decision to refrain from attacking “certain targets” in Iran was not made because of an American ultimatum. Netanyahu also claimed that the Israeli military hit an element of Iran’s nuclear programme during the retaliatory attack on Tehran last month.Last week, the Axios news site revealed that Israel destroyed an active nuclear weapons research facility during last month’s attack on Iran.
