Israel 'Strikes Hezbollah' In Beirut Amid Trump's Ceasefire 'Deadline'; Iranian Officials In Lebanon

Israel continued strikes on Lebanon amid indications of movement in US-led diplomatic contacts towards ending the conflict. On Nov 15, an Israeli airstrike flattened a building near a busy Beirut junction amid intensified strikes on Hezbollah-controlled areas. The attack struck near the Tayouneh junction in an area where the Hezbollah-controlled southern suburbs meet other parts of the city. Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported a “heavy raid in the Ghobeiri area, near Horsh Beirut, the capital’s largest park. It said the raid had been preceded by two missile strikes on the same target by an Israeli drone.
