India records 13,596 fresh Covid cases in 24 hours, lowest daily rise in over 8 months

New Delhi, Oct 18: India recorded 13,596 fresh COVID-19 infections in a day, taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,40,81,315. This is the lowest daily rise in nearly eight months, according to the Union Health Ministry’s data on Monday.
