The train will undergo trials upon hitting the tracks and is expected to commence commercial operations within six months.The sleeper version of the Swadeshi train will be a 16-coach train set with one unit of four bogies. The first Vande Bharat train was launched on the New Delhi to Varanasi route in 2019.
