| Ayodhya Ram Mandir’s Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das has passed away at the age of 85. He was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow on February 3 after suffering a brain stroke. Das was shifted to the Neurology ward HDU, where he received treatment until his passing. He had been serving as the chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi for over three decades. Das was a prominent figure in Ayodhya and played a key role in the daily rituals and ceremonies at the Ram Mandir. His demise is being mourned by devotees and well-wishers across the country.
