Army JCO, terrorist killed in daylong Rajouri encounter; arms, ammunition seized
A junior commissioned officer was killed and a terrorist neutralised during a fierce gun battle between the security forces and terrorists in Thannamandi area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh, said one AK 47 rifle, a pistol, magazines and other ammunition were recovered from the encounter site at Karyote Kalyas village.
