Afghan Hindus, Sikhs sent back from airport by Taliban

A group of 66 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, including members of Afghanistan Parliament Anarkali Kaur Honaryar and Narender Singh Khalsa, were not allowed by the Taliban to enter Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul for flying out of the war-torn country with some Indians, even as they waited for nearly 43 hours, people from both the communities confirmed. They have safely returned either to their homes in Kabul city or Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Karta-e-Parwan, along with a Sikh sangat from Jalalabad, local sources said.
