8,000 government officials to be promoted, Centres to grant quota in promotion

New Delhi, July 02: The Centre is all set to promote 8,089 officials and also grant reservation in promotion to members of the Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes. Out of the total promotions, 1,734 are posts not covered under the reservation
