Back injury may force Shreyas Iyer to miss first half of IPL

A recurring back injury could see KKR captain Shreyas Iyer miss not just the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, starting March 17, but also the first half of IPL 2023, which kicks off on March 31. Iyer is the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. The middle-order batter missed the home ODIs against New Zealand as well as the first Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Nagpur.
