Facing stern criticism after series loss to England, Pakistan captain Babar Azam got support from former skipper Shahid Afridi, who asserted that the 28-year-old remains the backbone of the team. With England’s win 26-run win in the second Test in Multan, Pakistan now trail the three-Test series 2-0. However Afridi claimed that Babar has not been taking advice from senior players in strategising and planning.
