Hrishikesh Kanitkar appointed Indian women’s team batting coach

Former India cricketer Hrishikesh Kanitkar has been appointed the batting coach of the Indian women’s cricket team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a release on Tuesday announced the appointment of Kanitkar, who will join the team from the upcoming 5-match T20I series against Australia, which starts from December 9 in Mumbai.
