Baba Aparajith to lead Tamil Nadu in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

All-rounder Baba Aparajith was on Wednesday named captain of the Tamil Nadu team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy national T20 cricket tournament, while M S Washington Sundar was named his deputy. Tamil Nadu has been placed in Elite Group ‘E’ with matches to be played in Lucknow. The first match will be against Chhattisgarh on October 11. It will be followed by games against Odisha, Sikkim, Bengal, Jharkhand and Chandigarh.
