Tripura BJP MLA threatens Talibani style attack on TMC, party distances itself

On a day when the Calcutta high court severely indicted chief minister Mamata Banerjee-led government in West Bengal for the widespread violence after the state election earlier this year, a BJP MLA from Tripura’s remarks have triggered a controversy for allegedly threatening a “Talibani style” treatment to her Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders in his state.
