The Assam police has arrested Assam Civil Service (ACS) officer Nupur Bora for allegedly possession wealth disproportionate to her income.The Assam Police Chief Minister’s Vigilance team on Monday raided Bora’s residence in Guwahati, seizing approximately ₹90 lakh in cash and over ₹1 crore worth of gold ornaments. The total value of the recovery is estimated at ₹2 crore. Besides, Rs 10 lakh cash was recovered during a raid at her rented house in Barpeta.According to an officer, Bora was arrested soon after the raid and booked for possessing wealth disproportionate to her income.Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, speaking to the media, revealed that Nupur Bora had been under surveillance for the past six months. -newsNews18 Mobile App – https://onelink.to/desc-youtube
