IDF Chief 'Teased' Nasrallah Funeral Bombing To Cadets, 'Egypt Not A Threat To Israel Yet But...'

Israel’s Channel 14 News reported that the IDF considered an airstrike on Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral. Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi hinted at this during a talk with cadets, asking, “Want to guess what about? Nasrallah’s funeral—we’re undecided.” Despite Israeli jets flying over the ceremony attended by Iranian officials, no attack took place. Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the flyover, declaring, “You will specialise in funerals and we will in victories.” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the move as a “violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty” and questioned, “If that is not an act of terror then what is?” Meanwhile, Halevi noted Egypt’s growing military capability, warning, “We believe that this is not a threat now but this situation can change in a moment.” n18oc_world n18oc_crux
