During the ongoing Zolfaghar 1403 joint military drill, the Iranian Navy is expected to unveil “Piroozan” hovercraft, reported Mehr News. “Piroozan” which is equipped with long-range missiles will soon be integrated into the naval combat fleet, the Iranian Navy Commander was reported to have said.Rear Admiral Shahram Irani reportedly made the announcement while addressing the joint drills.The Zolfaqar exercises are being held across the strategic Makran coastline, the Sea of Oman, and the northern side of the Indian Ocean. Iranian media stated that on the first day of the drills, Iran successfully met its coastal defence objectives.Separately, Irani stressed that the strategic naval forces had demonstrated their capability to provide an impenetrable defence along the coast, reported Press TV.
