Tariff War: Canada To Sue US At WTO, EU Vows ‘Firm Response’ As Trump Warns of Levy “Pretty Soon”

US President Donald Trump on Feb. 2 said he will discuss the punishing tariffs he has levied on Canada and Mexico with both countries on Feb. 3. However, the US president added that he doesn’t “expect anything very dramatic” to happen during the talks. The remarks come a day after Trump ordered 25% tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports. Trump has also hit China with a 10-percent tariff in addition to levies already in place.
