Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Devotees from all parts of the country and beyond are arriving in Prayagraj to participate in the sacred dip at the Maha Kumbh. After 144 years, the Maha Kumbh is taking place on the holy banks of the Sangam. Preparations have been ramped up for the important holy dip on January 29, which will be held on Mauni Amavasya.Since January 25, the Maha Kumbh Mela area has been designated as a ‘no-vehicle zone’. Attendees must leave their vehicles in the parking area located outside the fairgrounds. The distance from this parking area to the Sangam shore is quite significant, necessitating a lengthy walk for visitors.
