A series of intense Israeli airstrikes shook Yemen’s capital Sanaa and a port city early on December 19. A Houthi-controlled TV outlet said that some of the strikes targeted power stations in the capital, as well as the Ras Isa oil terminal on the Red Sea. The Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah TV later reported that the strikes killed nine people including seven at the port of Salif and the rest at Ras Issa.The strikes came shortly after a projectile fired from Yemen targeted central Israel, triggering off warning sirens.Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed striking in Yemen, saying their fighter jets struck Houthi military targets.
